The Miniature Pinscher is extremely playful, active and has the courage of a lion,
despite its small size! Contrary to popular belief, he is not a miniature Doberman.
Physical characteristics :
Coat : Short, smooth and shiny. The dress is mahogany,
black and fire or chocolate and fire.
Weight : 8 to 10 lbs
Longevity : 12 à 14 ans
Temperament :
- He is quick-witted, tenacious, brave and a real ball of energy.
- He is loving, faithful and protective of those he loves.
- He tends to be suspicious of strangers and strongly announces their presence (by barking).
- He is intelligent but a little stubborn..
Environnement :
It is perfect for apartment living.
He needs to spend himself daily.
Grooming :
Few moult.
Moderate hair loss.
Remove dead hair with a damp cloth (no brushing)..
Medical conditions to watch for:
- Patella dislocation
- Legg Perthes Calvé Disease
- Wobbler syndrome.
